The ‘Business voucher plan’ is launched, which aims to promote ultra-fast internet connectivity and the digitization of the production system throughout the country. Starting tomorrow Tuesday 1 March, at 12, the Ministry of Economic Development announces, companies will be able to apply for a contribution – from a minimum of 300 euros to a maximum of 2,500 euros for 30 Mbit / s ultra-broadband connectivity services over 1 Gbit / s – directly to the telecommunications operators who will be accredited on the portal dedicated to the incentive, activated by Infratel Italia, which manages the measure on behalf of the Ministry of Economic Development.
For the delivery of the voucher and the activation of the ultra-broadband services, the beneficiaries must use the usual sales channels of the operators. The resources allocated to the measure, aimed at the digitalisation of businesses, amount to a total of approximately 608 million euros.
It is, explains the Mise, an intervention that falls within the scope of the Italian strategy for ultra-broadband and is also among the priorities indicated in the PNRR. The Plan will last until the allocated resources are exhausted and, in any case, until 15 December 2022. The duration of the measure may be extended for a further year.
