Ukrainian women give birth to children during the war. Babies are often born in shelters, so the exact number cannot yet be calculated.
This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Digital Development.
Newborns need to be registered, but the єMalyatko service is not available during martial law.
To apply for a child, parents need to contact the nearest registry office in an area where there are no active hostilities. To register a child, you must have a paper medical birth certificate in the form No. 103 / o with you.
In the case where there is no access to the register, the state authorities must make the appropriate entry in paper form. After the resumption of access, the information must be entered into the database within 5 days.
“Life will conquer death”– noted in the Ministry of Digital Development.
What parents need to know
If, during the war, baby food suddenly runs out in stores, doctor Yevgeny Komarovsky recommended that parents stock up on cow’s milk.
It can be used during emergency situations. However, in order not to harm the child on artificial feeding – no more than a month.
A little older children who have seen the war may be psychologically traumatized in the future. Psychologists advise parents to talk about these situations with babies, talk about their emotions and create an atmosphere of safety – hugs, games, viewing photos, etc.
We have previously reported that the Russians are shelling civilian buildings and residential buildings in cities. Hospitals, schools, kindergartens often fall under shelling, and women have to give birth in bomb shelters.
