(ANSA) – MILAN, 03 MAR – Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Generali has been closely monitoring the situation and the implications for its activities and for the financial markets.
In light of this, the Lion will close its representative office in Moscow while Europ Assistence, which operates in the country, will close its business. Above all, the Italian group has decided to leave the positions held on the board of the Russian insurance company Ingosstrakh, of which it holds a minority stake of 38.5%.
These are three positions held so far by Paolo Scaroni, Luciano Cirinnà, head of the Acea area (Austria, Central Eastern Europe and Russia) of Generali and Giorgio Callegari, former number one of Generali Russia, who later merged into the Acea area. (HANDLE).
