Wouldn’t it be cheaper? How much does it cost to fill up a car on March 7

The list of the most important strategic goods in wartime conditions replenishes fuel. In some places it can be hard to get it, and the prices for it are growing objectively almost every day.

“Today” found out how much different types of fuel cost at Ukrainian gas stations on March 7.

The cost of fuel at gas stations OKKO and WOG:

• A-95+ – UAH 38.99;
• A-95 – UAH 36.75;
• A-92 – UAH 35.99;
• GP – UAH 35.99;
• gas — 19.64 UAH.

Price for Filling station “Ukrnafta”:

• A-95+ – UAH 35.50;
• A-95 – UAH 35.00;
• A-92 – UAH 34.00;
• GP – UAH 34.00;
• gas — UAH 18.01

Price for Gas station KLO:

• A-95+ – UAH 36.59;
• A-95 – UAH 36.29;
• A-92 – UAH 35.68;
• GP – UAH 35.59;
• gas – 19.48 UAH.

Price for UPG gas stations:

• A-95+ – UAH 38.09;
• A-95 – UAH 35.70;
• A-92 – UAH 34.90;
• GP – UAH 33.90;
• gas — UAH 19.01

New marginal fuel prices

The Ministry of Economy has raised new estimated prices for the average cost of gasoline and diesel fuel, from which filling stations will be able to set their markup.

New settlement prices:

• liter price gasoline – 33.79 hryvnia,
• diesel fuel (DP) – 30.95 hryvnia per liter.

The cost of fuel at gas stations cannot exceed:

• 38.34 hryvnia per liter of gasoline,
• 35.92 hryvnia per liter of diesel fuel.

Why can the cost of fuel rise even more?

Experience shows that after an increase in the estimated cost of a network of filling stations, they increase their retail prices and reduce them after their decrease.

Therefore, in the near future we can expect an increase in fuel prices at some gas stations.
