Stock Exchange: Milan improves (+ 1%) with Europe, Stellantis shines

(ANSA) – MILAN, MARCH 22 – Piazza Affari improves (+ 1.03%) while the spread between the BTP-Bund is trying to breathe (at 152.9 basis points with the yield of the Italian BTP at 2.03%) also if the bond markets remain under pressure, starting with that of US government bonds, which are already pricing in new interest rate interventions in the light of the words of Fed Chairman Jerome Powell. Frankfurt earns 0.85%, Paris 0.67% and London 0.51% Purchases reward automakers all over Europe and in Milan Stellantis shines (+ 2.67%) and Pirelli recovers (+2, 29%). Financials Poste (+ 2.32%) also performed well, on the eve of the presentation of the results, Intesa (+ 2.03%) and Mediolanum (+ 1.9%). Then Atlantia is highlighted (+2.25). The setback in the oil race (WTI -0.6% to 111.4 dollars a barrel, Brent -0.35% to 115 dollars) only partially explains the decline of Saipem (-1.55%), rather penalized by the announcement scheduled for Friday of the accounts and the plan that should put the group back on track. European gas traded on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange slightly increased (+ 0.72% to 97 euros per megawatt hour).

As in the rest of the Old Continent, the pharmaceuticals Diasorin (-1.36%) and Recordati (-0.66%) are bad, like Amplifon (-1.1%). Outside the main basket Maire Tecnimont celebrates a new contract in the USA (+ 4.9%), Webuild instead is not moved (+ 0.06%) by a contract in Australia. (HANDLE).
