More time for Superbonus villas, government opens to extension

Orlando:

The deadline of 30 June for carrying out 30% of the work in single-family houses, a necessary condition to be able to take advantage of the Superbonus until the end of the year, could be extended. The government does not rule out the idea and is evaluating its feasibility, “compatibly with the forecasts included in the public finance document for 2022”. To announce what is a real opening, the first, to the possibility of a postponement was the Undersecretary for the Economy Federico Freni.
The pressing of Parliament, never entirely satisfied with the compromise found in maneuvering the time allowed to enjoy the 110% subsidy, thus seems to have breached the executive’s intentions. The push and pull on the date of the end of June had never actually subsided: after the anti-fraud measures on the sale of credits – which at the beginning of the year, according to sector operators, temporarily blocked the market – the topic of postponement returned in many of the amendments to the Sostegni ter decree. The proposed amendments were unsuccessful, but the parties did not give up, repeating the same requests also in the so-called Bill decree being examined by the Chamber. The need to extend, if not eliminate, the end of June date is felt by the majority, with amendments coming from the 5 Star Movement, from IV, from Article one, from Coraggio Italia and from the League.
