Ukrainians on the network massively complain about the work of Monobank and accuse that the financial institution “takes away the last money from Ukrainians, blocked the ability to transfer funds, changes the commission without the knowledge of customers,” and so on.

Outraged users leave reviews about this on the Ministry of Finance website.

For example, user Vladimir Kokhan writes that Monobank’s statement about the non-calculation of fines on a loan is a lie, and fines are still being charged.

ABOUT interest calculation during martial law in the country writes Maria8Maria.

“So far, all banks have announced loan holidays. Monobank continues to charge interest on loans. And *** that people do not have the opportunity to pay them. There is a war in the country, the majority of the population is sitting without work,” the client is indignant.

A bank in a war demands to repay the debt, a user with a nickname writes Olga Coach.

“Despite the fact that all ibox and Ukrgasbank terminals in Kyiv do not work! How to repay if there is 1 branch, in which there is a queue of 2 km. Repay online by paying a 4% commission?” The complaint says.

Commission change

Another client with the nickname Valerii99 claims that the bank changes the commission without notifying customers, although all other banks generally removed the commission for the duration of the hostilities.

The Ukrainian also writes that he cannot get his hryvnia plastic card in any way.

How does Monobank react?

Representatives of the bank respond to numerous complaints about the accrual of fines and interest that they are guided by the instructions of the NBU and continue to fulfill their obligations to customers.

“The minimum payment can be made whenever possible, we do not charge fines and increased interest if the minimum payment is not made. You will be able to repay the debt when you have such an opportunity,” the bank assures.

Also, representatives of Monobank note that this does not affect credit history in any way.

To the message that the bank does not comply with these rules, the response also notes that in order to fulfill obligations to depositors, the bank continues to pay interest for the use of the credit limit and payments for the services “Installment/Purchase in installments/cash credit”.

New virtual cards Monobank

On March 17, Oleg Gorokhovsky, co-founder of the bank, presented a new version of the mobile application, in which unusual skins for cards and a new opportunity to donate to the army are available to Ukrainians.

Skins for virtual cards patriotic with images of people who became idols of Ukrainians during the war, in particular Vladimir Zelensky, adviser to the head of the OP Oleksiy Arestovich, head of the Nikolaev OV Vitaly Kim and an outstanding pilot nicknamed “The Ghost of Kyiv”.

“Today” also wrote that Monobank launched a new service and told which banks have the opportunity to increase the credit limit.
