The Ministry of Economy published the average cost of gasoline and diesel fuel, from which the maximum selling price of fuel at gas stations at the end of September is calculated.
This was reported by the press service of the department.
Now the maximum price of gasoline is 26.17 UAH / liter and diesel fuel is 22.59 UAH / liter. And taking into account the maximum trade margin, the marginal cost of gasoline is 31.17 UAH / l, diesel fuel – 29.59 UAH / l.
Previously, gasoline cost UAH 26.61, and diesel fuel – UAH 22.32. Thus, the average price for gasoline dropped by 44 kopecks per liter, while the average price for diesel fuel increased by 27 kopecks per liter.
Fuel price limits
In May of this year, during the quarantine period, the government decided to introduce price regulation for non-premium gasoline and diesel fuel. This decision was made to prevent unreasonable price increases. The cost of premium fuel and autogas is not regulated.
The ceiling price includes the average cost of fuel and a margin, the amount of which is limited for diesel fuel not exceeding 7 UAH per liter, and for gasoline – not more than 5 UAH per liter.
