During martial law, Ukrainians can use the money from the arrested bodies of the executive service or private executors of accounts.
According to Segodnya, according to the order of the Cabinet of Ministers dated March 2, No. 198-r, citizens are given access to such accounts only when the amount of recovery from a person does not exceed 100,000 hryvnias.
Debtors were allowed to open bank accounts and use them – banks should not pay attention to seized funds. However, such connivance will be valid only until the end of martial law.
Status check
The debtor can check whether he is allowed to use the money from the frozen account. To do it yourself, just go to your personal account on the bank’s website and try to pay for a communal apartment or top up your mobile phone.
If the bank has not removed the arrest from your account, you need to call the hotline of a financial institution or contact a bank branch. The client will be offered ways out of the situation, otherwise, you can contact the state authorities.
Support is provided at the contact center of the Free Legal Aid (BPD) system of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine at 0-800-213-103. Consultations are also carried out online in the mobile application of the same name.
The application “Your right” will also come in handy. You can also consult with lawyers in Telegram or Viber. There is a government hotline at 15-45 and a NBU hotline at 0-800-505-240.
Closing accounts in PrivatBank
In May, PrivatBank plans to close all Bonus+ accounts and transfer money from them to the needs of the army. Ukrainians can spend bonus savings before the specified period. As of the beginning of April, UAH 600 million remained on the bank’s bonus accounts.
“From May 1, the program will stop working, all unused balances on virtual accounts will be directed to the needs of the army and the restoration of Ukraine”the bank said.
Earlier, Segodnya told what problems Ukrainians faced with loans during the war, and also explained where Ukrainian citizens can get money if their own savings run out.
