At a charity auction in support of Ukraine in London, the fleece jacket of the head of our state, Vladimir Zelensky, was sold for 90 thousand pounds (3.4 million hryvnia). Boris Johnson personally supervised the auction.
It is reported by The Daily Telegraph.
The initial price of fleece was 50 thousand pounds sterling, but the prime minister called for higher rates.
Whether you’re bidding for £50,000 Wladimir’s fleece, I want much higher bids, or you’re bidding for a Kyiv tour with Mayor Klitschko. I had a tour of Kyiv with Mayor Klitschko, a good city. It’s worth it, dig deep,” Johnson said.
The auction also included cockerel-shaped cockleill given to Johnson
during his walk with Zelensky in Kyiv, and also played tour of the Ukrainian capital.
