Salone Risparmio: starting tomorrow, registrations jump to 14,500

(ANSA) – MILAN, 09 MAY – A sustainable and digital economic development that puts people and human capital at the center. This is the main challenge of the future to which the Salone del Risparmio 2022 wants to respond, which will open its doors tomorrow at the Mico in Milan with 14,500 members, 140 brands and 400 speakers who will animate the 125 scheduled conferences.

In a crucial moment for the world political and economic panorama, during the three days many moments of discussion on future geopolitical and economic balances cannot be missing. The event will be inaugurated by the president of Assogestioni, Carlo Trabattoni, in the opening plenary conference entitled “Human, responsible, digital”, during which the context in which today the asset management industry and all economic activities are explored will be called to rethink their models by pursuing objectives with an impact on society. The debate will also be animated by the intervention of Rachel Botsman, Trust Expert and Author Lecturer at Oxford University, who will address the issue of trust and the levers through which it is built.

The interventions of the Minister for Technological Innovation and the Digital Transition, Vittorio Colao, and the Minister for Equal Opportunities, Elena Bonetti, are expected, among others, who will also light a beacon on gender equality in asset management companies.

The twelfth edition of the Salone also celebrates the 75th anniversary of the birth of the Italian Constitution, which identifies the protection of savings as one of the fundamental principles of the so-called “Economic Constitution”, with the presentation of a stamp dedicated to managed savings. Ample space, then, for financial education, because the financial awareness of families, together with the stability of investments – according to Assogestioni – is the basis for promoting support for the economy and social development of the country.
