Ukrainians will be able to receive compensation for another type of real estate – details

In Ukraine, a special register will be used to register housing damaged and destroyed by the war.

Corresponding changes on what can be made to it were adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers.

So, in the so-called Register of damaged housing, even objects of unfinished construction were allowed to be entered. However, there is a condition here – you must have permits for this construction.

Such objects will be entered into the register only if there have already been external and internal load-bearing walls were erected.

In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers allowed to record the fact of destroyed and damaged housing in another way, now it is not necessary to provide a photo or video, you can use satellite imageryconfirming this fact.

What will be on the Register of Damaged Housing?

The database will contain information about:

• damaged or destroyed housing;
• owners of damaged or destroyed housing;
• damage caused by damage to housing.

Owners of destroyed real estate cannot independently make changes to the Register, the administrator is the Ministry of Digital Development.

How to provide information?

Ordinary citizens can submit all available information about their residential property in the following ways:

• through the portal “Diya”;
• through TsNAP;
• through a notary.
