This was announced by the president of Edizione, Alessandro Benetton, after the controversy over the fact that the name of the ‘bidco’, which uses the traditional system used by the family to name the special purpose companies with a progressive number, corresponds to the death toll for the collapse of the Morandi Bridge in Genoa. “We have given the order to the corporate structures”, explains Alessandro Benetton on the sidelines of the presentation of his autobiography in Milan.
“This slip of our corporate structure also leaves me speechless: we immediately gave the order that the name of the company be changed, also as a gesture of discontinuity that this mechanism of consequential numbers be stopped and moved on to something else”, adds Alessandro Benetton before of the presentation of the book ‘the trajectory’.
