In Ukraine, illegal wearing of military uniforms will be punished with more serious fines.

The bill with the corresponding changes is now being processed in the committee of the Verkhovna Rada.

So, for wearing a uniform with insignia, you can get a fine in the amount of 200-300 non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens, which is from 3400 to 5100 UAH

If you are detained for a second violation, the fine will be from 300 to 400 minimums, which is from 5117 UAH to 6800 UAH. The fine in this case can be replaced by community service. from 30 to 40 days.

People’s deputies also want to impose penalties for wearing a uniform police and other law enforcement officials without permission to do so.

Fines in Germany

Ukrainians in Germany may unknowingly part with large sums of money, because they are fined in this country for many things that are overlooked in Ukraine.

For example, if you go for a walk with your dog and do not take a special bag with you to clean up after it, you will face a fine of 35 to 250 euros. (from UAH 1139 to UAH 8141).

For the lack of headlights on a bicycle, you can get a fine of 20 to 35 euros (from UAH 651 to UAH 1139), and for feeding the pigeons you will have to pay up to 5000 euros.
