An economic crisis in Ukraine due to a full-scale Russian invasion could provoke a shortage of smartphones, feature phones, low-cost laptops and power banks.

This is stated in the material of the publication “Forbes Ukraine”.

The deficit is planned due to a sharp drop in imports and the destruction of stocks. At the same time, it is noted that the demand for equipment among Ukrainians also decreased by about 40%.

So, before the war, the Foxtrot company had a warehouse with equipment for 600 million UAH in Gostomel. But during the defense of Kyiv from the advancing Russian troops, the warehouse was destroyed, and now the company is selling the goods remaining in stores.

Co-owner of the network Valery Makovetsky confirms that there is no assortment, and predicts the aggravation of the situation in a month or two.

Comfy also says that the Ukrainian market already has some shortage of personal electronics. And Arthur Matkovsky, marketing director of Allo, in particular, believes that there will be very few smartphones oppo and vivo, tablets, Wi-Fi routers, inexpensive laptops, drones and batteries.

It is quite difficult to import new equipment because of the war: ports are closed, air transport does not work. According to the Ministry of Economy, imports to Ukraine in March fell by 3.2 times compared to February. Distributors say they import 40-50% from the pre-war figure.

But, according to experts, the impending crisis is beneficial for Ukrainian producers. For example, representatives of Saturn have already stated that they will be able to provide Ukrainian consumers with household appliances.

Petrol Crisis in Ukraine

Having attacked Ukraine, Russia began to destroy the energy infrastructure of our country, provoking a serious shortage of fuel. Gas station chains even had to impose certain restrictions on its sale.

At OKKO gas stations, customers with a Fishka card can receive from 15, 20 and 30 liters, depending on the type of card, and those who do not have Fishka cannot refuel at all.

Filling stations of the WOG network announced that they could only sell 10 liters gasoline in one car per day, and restrictions on vacation in the canister were canceled.

In the Avias network, they refuel at 20 liters at a time, in the presence of fuel, but it is forbidden to collect gasoline in cans, only in the tank.
