Stock Exchange: Milan turns up, energy and utilities are running

(ANSA) – MILAN, MAY 16 – The Milan Stock Exchange (+ 0.4%) turns positive, in line with the other European lists. In Piazza Affari, energy and utilities run, with the price of gas and oil falling. The spread between BTPs and Bunds stood at 192 basis points, with the Italian ten-year yield at 2.9%.

On the main list, Saipem (+ 4.3%), on the eve of the meeting, and Leonardo (+ 3%) are on display. Tenaris (+ 2.8%), Hera (+ 2.6%), A2a (+ 1.4%) and Eni (+ 1.3%) also did well.

Positive trend also for the car sector where Iveco shines (+ 1.1%). Stellantis (+ 0.4%) and Cnh (+ 0.1%) are up.

Banks improved with Unicredit (+ 1.7%), and Mps (+ 0.5%) on a stable rise. Weak Banco Bpm and Bper (-0.1%). At the bottom of the main Nexi price list (-1.5%), on the day of the extension of the negotiations with Bper on payment systems. Poste and Prysmian (-1%), Pirelli and Ferrari (-0.8%) were also bad.
