New fines may be introduced in Ukraine, namely, for violation of the curfew, the blackout regime and the sale of alcohol at an unspecified time during martial law.
Corresponding changes are envisaged by bill No. 7356, which is registered in the Verkhovna Rada, but has not yet been put to a vote.
People’s deputies from the “Servant of the People”, who are the authors of this document, propose to establish the following fines:
- for violating the curfew and the blackout regime – UAH 170-510 for the first time, up to UAH 1700 for a repeated offense;
- violation of the curfew within 5 km from the state border – 1700-3400 UAH;
- violation of restrictions on the sale of alcohol – 8500-17000 UAH;
- violation of restrictions on the sale of medicines – UAH 1700-5100, as well as confiscation of goods and proceeds.
The explanatory note notes that the purpose of the bill is to eliminate a real threat to life and security, as well as to ensure public order.
Penalty for wearing a uniform
Previously, the deputies suggested that illegal wearing of military uniforms be punished with more serious fines.
The corresponding bill is at the stage of processing in the Verkhovna Rada.
For wearing a uniform with insignia, you can get a fine in the amount of 200-300 non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens, which is from 3400 to 5100 UAH. For repeated violations, the fine may be from 5117 UAH to 6800 UAH.
Segodnya wrote earlier why Ukrainians are often fined in Germany and told what punishment was temporarily canceled for Ukrainian drivers.
