Stock market: Milan negative (-0.4%), good for industry and utilities

Exports to Russia collapse, energy imports fly (ANSA)

(ANSA) – MILAN, 18 MAY – Piazza Affari fell in the afternoon, like the other main European stock exchanges. In no particular order the banks, with the BTP-Bund spread back down to 191.5 points, after an increase to 183.5 around 3.30 pm, and the Italian ten-year yield dropped to 2.945%. At the top of the main list is Unicredit (+ 2.9%), on the rumors reported by the FT of talks with Commerzbank that the war has stopped, and among the other banks, Intesa (+ 0.3%) and Fineco ( + 0.2%), while Banco Bpm (-0.2%) and Mps (-0.7%) are down.

Paytech Nexi was heavy (-3.6%). Mediobanca loses (-2.1%), with analysts doubting about a takeover of Delfin and which, according to Consob updates as of May 16, closed the securities lending on Generali’s 4.42% and returned to holding 12.776% of the company.

Good for Iveco (+ 2.7%) and Cnh (+ 1.3%), Prysmian (+ 2%), among the utilities Terna (+ 1.4%) and Hera (+ 0.9%), among the oil plants of Tenaris (+ 0.8%) and Eni (+ 0.3%), not Saipem (-4.1%).

At the bottom of the Ftse Mib is Amplifon (-4.2%), while in luxury Moncler is negative (-2.9%). Cars lost, from Ferrari (-2.7%) to Stellantis (-0.7%), with the data in the red of the April market, among Pirelli components (-2.3%). Down Campari (-2.8%), Tim (-2.6%), among the pharmaceuticals especially Diasorin (-2.3%).
