The slide on the eve of Wall street and the weakness of the Asian stock exchanges weigh on Piazza Affari and on other European lists, but without collapsing: the Ftse Mib index in an unstable climate drops by 1%, with Moncler, Stellantis and Iveco yielding over two percentage points.
In Europe, where gas holds around 94 euros per megawatt hour, London loses 1.1%, with Paris, Frankfurt and Amsterdam losing 1.7%.
On the main list of Piazza Affari, which also looks at the spread of 197 points, Mediolanum and Banca Generali fell over 1%, with Eni and Leonardo trying to move a few fractions above par. Always solid Generali with the accounts for the quarter and, among other things, a profit above analysts’ estimates: the stock rises just below one percentage point.
