(ANSA) – MILAN, MAY 19 – Engie and Ansaldo Green Tech, an Ansaldo Energia company active in the field of renewable energy and storage, have signed an agreement for the construction of green hydrogen production plants and other storage solutions. energy in Italy.
The projects will be carried out by the two energy players in industrial areas, to be identified in various Italian regions, leveraging the financial instruments made available by the Pnrr calls. The expected power of the plants will be of the order of 1Mw, with variable values through additional capacities to meet the energy demand.
Engie will be responsible for the design and construction of plants for the production of “green” electricity and the integration of management systems for the production and storage of hydrogen, while Ansaldo Green Tech will create the electrolysers which, using electricity from renewable sources , will produce hydrogen to be dedicated to final users.
