Really 100 UAH per liter?
Earlier, the editors of Segodnya asked Gennady Ryabtsev, deputy director of the Psyche Scientific and Technical Center, about what to expect on the fuel market in the near future. The expert is convinced that the deregulation of prices by the state was a bad step, which will lead to a number of problems.
Since traders are now unlimited, they can set any price, even UAH 100 per liter of gasoline. Ukrainians will not benefit from this, and the budget even more so, because apart from 7% VAT, companies no longer pay taxes. The source of supply is also the same – the western border, so there is no price competition, but there will be more speculation on the market.
Given the shortage of fuel, price increases should be expected not only at gas stations, but in general everywhere. First of all, this applies to public transport and essential products, which are directly dependent on transportation and fuel.
Previously, we wrote what kind of fraudulent schemes at gas stations Ukrainians should be wary of, and also told what M95 gasoline is, which interested Internet users so much and where to buy it in Ukraine.
