For the duration of a full-scale war, Ukrainian servicemen who protect our country from Russian invasion receive additional surcharges ranging from 30,000 to 100,000 hryvnias. Those fighters who were captured by Russian terrorists can also count on a reward for protecting Ukraine.

This was announced by Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov in a video message.

According to him, if a soldier is in captivity, then members of his family can receive payments for military service. We are talking about both a fixed monthly allowance and additional rewards for completing tasks, which are also calculated monthly.

“It is necessary not only to make sure that our warrior is captured, for example, to see him on video. This fact should be recorded in a certain order. So that in the future everything will work like clockwork”he explained.

As Aleksey Reznikov noted, the money will be issued after receiving an order on the serviceman’s official position.
