(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 30 – There are over 19 million citizens over 18 years old (40.1% of the total) who turned to the public administration between May 2020 and January 2022 and among those who used these services “a widespread satisfaction “with 86.9% of users who expressed much or enough satisfaction at least once and 20.5% who declared themselves dissatisfied at least once. It can be read in the Istat Report “Citizens and remote work in the PA during the pandemic”. According to Istat, the overall 31.6% of those who have contacted a public office at least once (over six million) are dissatisfied or those who have found a deterioration in quality at least once. Among these, 59.8% believe that smart working is either the contributing cause or the reason for the disservice. Overall, therefore, it can be said that 20% of users believe that remote work has worsened the quality of services (about 3.8 million people). 37.7% of citizens – underlines Istat – turned to the Public Administration exclusively through a physical counter, 30.8% only through the online counter.
