Stock Exchange: Milan positive (+ 0.59%), Saipem sells again

Setback for employment, forward contracts at the top (ANSA)

(ANSA) – MILAN, 02 JUN – Session with semi-festive exchanges in Piazza Affari both for the closure of London (and therefore of the operators based in the City), also stopped tomorrow to celebrate the 70 years of the reign of Elizabeth II, and for the Festival of the Republic. The Milan stock market, in line with the other European stock exchanges, maintained its gains even after the weak start of Wall Street which, however, restarted before they closed trading in the Old Continent.

To dominate the day, more than American macro data, was the decision of OPEC + to increase production without expelling Russia, whose production is also destined to decline due to the new EU sanctions package.

The performance of securities listed in Milan was however only marginally impacted by these changes: Saipem continued its decline (-1.85%), followed by utilities A2a (-1.07%), Hera (-0.65 %) and Terna (-0.56%). Purchases also today rewarded Moncler (+ 3.28%). Interpump (+ 2.74%), Diasorin (+ 2.61%) and the automakers Iveco, Cnh (both + 2.247%) and Ferrari (+ 2.25%) did well. (HANDLE).
