The company says that the service is temporary, and so they want to help cover the transport needs from Lviv to the Shehyni border crossing. In addition, Uber wants to help local communities during a fuel shortage.

“Uber continues to support Ukrainian communities due to fuel shortages, which is why we are pleased to announce the launch of a new Uber Aid Shuttle initiative in Lviv. This is a temporary solution that will help people get through the existing fuel crisis more easily and return to Ukraine comfortably,” – summed up Yvona Kruk, a spokeswoman for Uber.
