The fuel crisis has changed the auto market in Ukraine, namely, it has increased the demand for electric cars.

In May alone, Ukrainians purchased 1,016 electric cars, and this result 63% more last year’s figure.
The share of new cars in this number also increased. up to 28% compared to 11% in 2021.
Mainly registered passenger cars – 984 pieces from the totaland commercial vehicles – total 32 pieces and all of them were already in use.
In the first five months of 2022, Ukraine registered 3090 electric vehicleswhich is 2.5% more than the same period last year.
However, our fellow citizens still prefer used electric cars, their share of the total is 80%.

The most popular model among electric cars remains NISSAN Leaffurther goes TESLA Model 3 and closes the top three VOLKSWAGEN e-Golf.
The fourth and fifth places were taken by VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 and DONG FENG M-NV.
Penalties during the war
