War prices: gas rises with terminal fire, stable oil

(ANSA) – MILAN, JUN 09 – A day marked by the gas rush with a fire in a large export terminal in the United States in Texas that jeopardizes deliveries to a market that is in a state of maximum alert for Russia.

The price in Amsterdam, which also touched 92 euros, fell to 85 euros and marks an increase of almost 7%. In London it is 155p at the MMBTU with a +19 percent.

Oil, after the jump on the eve of the highs in 14 years, is quite stable and fluctuates with the wti (-0.19%) close to 122 dollars a barrel. Brent is confirmed above 123 (-0.08%) dollars. On the metals front, gold is stable at 1848 dollars an ounce. In the agri-food sector both durum wheat (-0.5% to $ 1,149 per contractual unit of 5 thousand bushels) and wheat (-0.7% to $ 1,066) are down, while the tug-of-war on wheat remains, with Moscow which will allow the unblocking of exports from Ukrainian ports only if sanctions are lifted.
