This is the message of the President of Unioncamere, Andrea Prete, in announcing his participation in the first Blue Forum Italia Network Summit, scheduled for 17 and 18 June in the Gulf of Gaeta. Prete recalls that the economy of the sea even in the year of the pandemic “produced about 9% of the country’s GDP, which in the South rises to 11.2%, with over 920 thousand employees, demonstrating strong entrepreneurial resilience, with a growth of companies between 2019 and 2021 of 2.8% contrasted with the slight decrease in total companies “.

“The Chamber system is at the forefront, both directly and through Assonautica, in” grounding “the European strategy of transforming the blue economy for a sustainable future, because we consider it a great and innovative development opportunity”, underlines Prete.
