From companies “a real last call to a policy that we see excessively distracted”.
The president of the Small Industry, 90% of the members of Confindustria, Giovanni Baroni, summarizes in an interview with ANSA the meaning of the Assizes of tomorrow, in Bari, for a summary after a “listening path” of the entrepreneurs with nine stages on the territory. They ask for “a bath of reality”, underline the distance of political proposals “exploited for electoral purposes”, and warn: with the war and the energy crisis “we cannot survive” until the elections with a government that “is already in the mood” electoral”.
The living fabric of the Italian entrepreneurial system, the small industry is preparing to launch “an agenda of proposals for the strengthening of small businesses”. The appointment in Bari comes after a road map of nine stages throughout the Italian territory – started on 7 April from Cagliari, then touched Catania, Bologna, Turin, Milan, Vicenza, Naples, Pisa, and closed on May 3 in Pescara, actively involving over a thousand entrepreneurs -: “We need to bring SMEs back to the center of the country’s agenda . We ask politics to collect the indications of the entrepreneurs who represent the most productive and healthy part of the system “, says Baroni. And he warns: “In a year we will go to the elections, if the Government and Parliament manage to take our proposals into account, turning them into a political agenda, we will be able to overcome this phase, otherwise we risk falling into a stagnation that can be fatal for the economy and the Italian industry “.
