Philipp Plein bought the shares of the Billionaire brand from former partners Flavio Briatore and Percassibecoming the 100% owner of the brand.
Plein held 51%, Briatore on 25 and Percassi on 24. This was announced by the designer himself at the Milanese presentation of the luxury men’s tailoring brand’s collection for next summer.
“I’m faster on my own,” said the designerwhich also anticipated the opening of a store in Milan.
For the presentation at the Four Seasons in Milan, Plein wanted over 50 models only: “our client wants to see a man and not a boy. This is another market” he explained, showing the garments for next summer, inspired by the Amalfi coast. The collection proposes colorful linen suitssilk suits with mosaic prints, shirts with lemon prints and a crocodile jacket for 150 thousand euros.
“We celebrate Italy, Billionaire is different from everyone because he has no budget” concluded Plein, recently fathered for the second time.
