LLC “Google”, which is the Russian “daughter” of Google, filed a lawsuit about its own bankruptcy.
This was reported by RBC with reference to the file cabinet of the Moscow Arbitration Court.
Before that, Google took away most of its employees from the Russian Federation. The company began to offer to leave the aggressor country after at the end of March a court froze Google’s main bank account in the country.
However, according to Google, the company plans to leave free services such as: Search, YouTube, Maps and Gmail, available in Russia.
There is nothing to keep the office and people
Google Russia went to court because since March 2022 it considers itself bankrupt, cannot fulfill monetary obligations, pay salaries to office employees and make mandatory payments.
The representative office says that Google stopped most commercial transactions in Russia, in addition, the bank account was seized. Therefore, it is no longer possible to keep the office and people.
