Foreign companies grow and beat the pandemic (ANSA)

(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 20 – Carbon neutral by 2050. This is the goal that Daikin intends to achieve by focusing on sustainable technologies, new production processes, reuse of materials and resources, certified clean energy. Themes that were at the center of the conference “Between past and future”, organized at the Daikin Applied Europe plant in Ariccia, in which the company has invested 21 million euros in the last year aiming for its expansion. Among the objectives of the site is the increase in the in-house production of components, in particular that of copper pipes, together with the production of condensing coils and electrical panels for small inverter chillers. To reduce emissions from Daikin Applied Europe factories, the company aims to use only certified green energy. Among the expansion objectives of the site there is also the strengthening of the research and development department, as explained by the CEO of Daikin Applied Europe, Claudio Capozio: “In the last five years we have gone from 31 to 70 employees and we have invested in the creation of research laboratories for 2.5 million. But we are about to make new investments, amounting to six million, for a new plant that will be totally dedicated to laboratories, training rooms for customers and service operations of our machines. ” Furthermore, Capozio concluded his speech, “we intend to further strengthen the marketing and sales support departments”.
