Russian Internet sites Yandex.Market and Ozon are planning to use the “parallel import” of brands that left the Russian Federation because of its war in Ukraine. Household appliances, electronics, power tools and health products will be imported into the country without the consent of the brand owner, bypassing official dealers.

The Russians are assured that the first batches of brand products that left the Russian market are already in the warehouses of the marketplace, namely:

Ozon is also going to set up “parallel imports” of goods. The managing director of the marketplace, Sergey Belyakov, even boasted that in the future, luxury brand goods would be brought to Russians.
Meanwhile, the general director of Infoline-Analysts, Mikhail Burmistrov, notes that within the framework of “parallel imports” only the most popular goods will get to Russia, the range of which retailers have already reduced and will not recover in full.
