For users of smartphones on Android, “yellow” COVID certificates have become available, which can be obtained after the first vaccination.

This is stated in the video instruction from “Diya”.

How to generate a yellow certificate:

  • update the application to the latest version on Google Play;
  • click “Services” – “COVID-certificates” – “Get a certificate”;
  • sign a consent to the transfer of your data “Action Signature”.

It is easy to generate “Diya Pidpis”. You need to point the phone camera at your face against a solid background and with bright lighting and follow the instructions of the application. You will need to tilt your head or turn your face so that the system can verify the photo with the biometrics in the registry.

After Diya finds information about vaccination in the registries, the certificate will immediately be pulled into the application.

Note that the “yellow” COVID certificate will be available after the first dose of the vaccine and will be valid for 120 days. After inoculation with the second dose, you need to repeat the authorization procedure – the certificate will be renewed.

Police will start checking COVID certificates

We previously reported that the National Police and the Ministry of Digital Affairs have developed special software for the police so that they can quickly check COVID certificates in Diya or scan paper documents. The check will be carried out using a police tablet.

“Each certificate and certificate must contain a QR code that confirms the authenticity of the medical document. And the competent authorities have the right to check their validity – this is the State Food Service, local authorities, etc. And the National Police is also on this list, although it is not identified as responsible in this process, “said Igor Klimenko.

Therefore, the specialists of the National Police, together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, have developed software for police tablets. This will allow law enforcement officers to quickly and smoothly check the certificate in Diya or scan a paper version of it for verification.

Klimenko also added that checking the COVID certificate will be similar to how driver’s licenses are checked now.
