(ANSA) – TRIESTE, 21 JUN – The illycaffè Shareholders’ Meeting approved the consolidated financial statements at 31 December 2021, drawn up for the first time according to IFRS accounting principles, which closed with revenues of 499.5 million (+ 16.7%), Ebitda of 61.7 million, net profit of 11.9 million and a negative net financial position of 123.5 million euros. The Shareholders’ Meeting also appointed the new BoD for the years 2022-2024 by a majority of independent directors.
Andrea Illy was confirmed as Chairman, Enrico Cucchiani as vice, Cristina Scocchia as confirmed six other outgoing directors: Robert Agostinelli, Carolyn Dittmeier, Anna Illy, Marianne Kirkegaard, Marina Migliorato and Cristina Scocchia. There are three new entries: Paola Cillo, Raffaele Jerusalmi and Giovanni Zoppas.
The honorary presidency for Anna Rossi Illy has also been confirmed.
The Board of Statutory Auditors appointed last year and chaired by Joram Bassan remains in office, flanked by the Statutory Auditors Alessandra Stabillini and Pasquale Debidda.
Raffaele Jerusalmi was appointed Lead Independent Director; Daniele Piva chairs the supervisory body.
For Andrea Illy, the new Board of Directors “will have the challenge of increasing the Company’s development in North America and accelerating the ecological transition, as well as preparing the Company’s listing on the Stock Exchange”. (HANDLE).
