(ANSA) – MILAN, JUN 21 – Third consecutive positive session for European stock exchanges after the reassurances of the ECB, with Piazza Affari which moved in the wake of the Old Continent and closed slightly higher: the Ftse Mib index concluded in fact up by 0.39% to 22,089 points, the FTSE All share up by 0.37% to 24,131.
London collects a rise of 0.5%, with Paris up by 0.7%, Frankfurt by 0.2% and Amsterdam up by one percentage point. In contrast, Madrid lost 0.5%. Seated without a precise direction for the Moscow Stock Exchange: the Moex index in rubles closed down by 1.9%, while the RTSI expressed in dollars was up by a final 1.6%. The ruble was weak against the euro, down by about one percentage point, while the Russian currency recovered 3% against the dollar.
Spread between 10-year BTPs and German Bunds without particular tensions: the differential closed the session on the telematic markets with a slight contraction at 191 basis points against 193 basis points at the start of the day, with a yield on the Treasury product at 3.67% . Gas up on the Amsterdam market at 125 euros per megawatt hour, up 4% compared to the day before.
In this context, in Piazza Affari, among the major stocks, an excellent session for Leonardo, which rose by 3.5% to 10 euros after the merger in the US of Drs with Rada. Stm and Stellantis also did well, both up by two and a half percentage points, up by 2% Banco Bpm and 1.7% Tim. Generally positive banks (Unicredit + 0.9%, Intesa + 0.7%), weak Generali (-1.3%) and utilities (Terna -2.5%, Italgas -3%). Male Recordati, which closed down 3.4%.
