(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 22 – With a strong focus on the territory and sustainability, the board of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti has launched the strategic guidelines for the implementation of the Strategic Plan 2022-2024 launched last November 25th.
On a board of directors that was held in Naples at the Museum and Real Bosco di Capodimonte in Naples with the intention of giving a concrete signal of the commitment to local communities, the company led by the managing director and general manager Dario Scannapieco. In detail, the resolutions approved by the board chaired by Gorno Tempini concern the first sectorial strategic guidelines for financing and investments, the first ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) Plan, the first General Policy for responsible financing, the reorganization of the real estate area of the Group and the extension of CDP Immobiliare Sgr’s operations to the infrastructure sector.
The Sectoral Strategic Guidelines concern three of the ten intervention fields identified by the Strategic Plan: energy transition, social infrastructures and digitization.
The Guidelines start from the analysis of sectoral delays, identifying the objectives and strategic priorities for the Cdp Group, indicating the tools to overcome them. As regards the Esg Plan, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti undertakes, among other things, to: reduce consumption and emissions by encouraging responsible and informed procurement and orienting operations towards transformation into a Smart Company, supporting diversity and inclusion, enhancing training and well-being and ensuring a greater gender balance Cdp has also approved the first General Responsible Financing Policy which will guide the Group’s financing activities ex-ante so that they are increasingly able to achieve positive impacts in social terms, economic and environmental.
