(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 23 – “The certification for gender equality introduces for the first time an element of reward for companies that intervene in processes of enhancement not only of equal opportunities but also of protagonism, skills and leadership female”. This was stated by the minister for equal opportunities and the family, Elena Bonetti, at the event of the ANSA agency “Diversity, inclusion, equity: a new vision for work”.
“The advantages, which will come into force once the certification is obtained, which will start in July in a formal way, will be both of a fiscal nature, therefore discounts on the cost of labor for companies, but also in public procurement”, continues the minister. “We have already changed the procurement code – underlines Bonetti – providing incentives and rewards for the companies that will obtain the certification”.
