Monobank opened new cards for some Ukrainians – who will benefit

Since the beginning of martial law, banks have launched many new services for customers to make it more convenient and easier for them to conduct financial transactions in such conditions. And from June 23, a new card is now available for all sole proprietors who use Monobank.

What is its use, said Oleg Gorokhovsky, co-founder of the bank.

You can pay and withdraw cash

For all sole traders in Monobank is now available currency card for travel expenses. That is, those who are abroad can spend travel money directly from the FLP account through Apple Pay or Google Pay. Customers can also withdraw cash.

“Transactions are carried out in the account currency or at card rates, which are better than the direct sale of FLP currency in the application”, – said Gorokhovsky.

He added that such an FLP card can find on the screen of your cash account.

Monobank closed one of the services

As we said earlier, Monobank has limited the withdrawal of money on cryptocurrency exchanges. That is, now the clients of the institution cannot credit money to their cards from the most popular Binance exchange.

The support service said that so far the ban does not apply to other exchanges, but it is “not recommended” to make such payments.

We also wrote that Monobank users doing business on the Internet were given the opportunity to more easily carry out operations for accepting payments for goods. For example, one-time payments are available, which is convenient for online merchants.
