Stock Exchange: Milan closes down with banks and Saipem crash

(ANSA) – MILAN, 23 JUN – Session down for Milan (Ftse Mib -0.80% to 21,615 points) as well as for the European stock exchanges with the weak euro and German manufacturing dropped to a 23-month low.

A difficult day, above all, for Saipem (-8%) which is discounting the conditions of the capital increase of which Consob has given the go-ahead for the publication of the prospectus. Banks especially bad, with Bper (-4.82%), Banco Bpm (-2.93%), Unicredit (-3.96%).

A general trend that also involves MPS (-2.99% to € 0.66) which unveiled the plan that provides for an increase of 2.5 billion and 4 thousand releases.

The spread between the BTPs and the Bund rose, archiving the day at 194.6 points compared to 190 at the start. On the other hand, the yield of the Italian ten-year declined to 3.36%.

Lastly, Amplifon’s run, in contrast to the trend, is worth mentioning, rising by 7.9 per cent. (HANDLE).
