(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 24 – “In May 2022, the economic growth of exports to non-EU countries continues, uninterrupted since the beginning of the year, driven in particular by the sales of instrumental and intermediate goods”, according to Istat, which records a growth in Italian exports of 4.7% compared to April and a slight decrease for imports (-0.8%).
On an annual basis, export growth marks a marked acceleration (+ 26.2%, it was + 11.9% in April) and one third depends on the increase in sales to the United States (+ 42.6%) .
