Stock Exchange: Milan (+ 1%) restarts with Europe, Saipem -10%

(ANSA) – MILAN, JUN 24 – The stock markets of the Old Continent pass the half-day mark, all accelerating, with futures on positive American indices: the best stock market is that of Amsterdam which rises by 2.1%, followed by Paris up around two percentage points and London up by 1.5%. Milan with the Ftse Mib index rises by 1% in a volatile climate, while Frankfurt and Madrid move up just below one percentage point. Moscow stock markets are down slightly.

Gas remains weak at just 131 euros per megawatt hour, down by about 1%, while a factor that helps the markets is that of oil, which tries to rise again with increases between one and two percentage points, at 106 dollars a barrel for the Wti. The euro held steady at the level of 1.053 against the dollar.

The spread between 10-year BTPs and German Bunds remains fairly stable at 198, with the yield on the Treasury product at 3.45% in the wake of rising tension on European government bonds.

In this context, in Piazza Affari the best stock in the main basket is that of Recordati, which rises by 7%, with Interpump and Inwit up by four percentage points. Italgas also did well (+ 3.8%), solid Generali up 1.8%.

Lazy Eni waving around parity, filed by half a point Unicredit. Saipem also slipped, selling 10% to 27 euros in view of the start of the capital increase. (HANDLE).
