ANSA Lavoro – ROME, 26 JUN – Fines in sight for traders and professionals who from Thursday will not allow electronic payments via Pos. In fact, on 30 June, the new rules provided for by the latest Pnrr decree, which provide for shopkeepers, artisans and professional firms not only the obligation to accept card payments, but also the application of sanctions in case of failure to comply with the law.
The decree brought forward the entry into force of the fines by six months (several times foreseen but always postponed). For those who refuse electronic payment, there is an administrative penalty of 30 euros, increased by 4% of the value of the transaction for which acceptance has been refused.
