War prices: gas continues to run, fears for storage

(ANSA) – MILAN, June 27 – The price of gas is not stopping, while there are fears that the reduction in supplies from Russia will not allow storage to reach the levels necessary to face the winter.

In Amsterdam, the price of gas rises by 1% to 129 euros, after hitting a maximum of 136 euros at the start of the session. On the other hand, the price of oil is down, while Russia has announced that it does not intend to cut production. The WTI falls by 0.2% to 107 dollars a barrel and the Brent by 0.1% to 113 dollars.

The price of gold also increased to 1,838 dollars an ounce (+ 0.7%) and silver to 21.52 dollars (+ 3.1%). On the food raw materials front, soft wheat recorded an increase of 1.4% to 949.25 dollars per 5 thousand bushels, while durum wheat rose by 0.8% to 1,006 dollars. (HANDLE).
