(ANSA) – MILAN, JUN 28 – Gucci expands its production with the new plant which will be built in Recanati by Pigini and which will be specialized in the production of shoe uppers of the brand and which will be fully operational within three years. In addition to the production component, the new structure aims at training young and skilled labor.
The new training activities will be part of the Gucci École de l’Amour project, which also includes the Factory School, a bimonthly course carried out in the Gucci factories and aimed at training “production operators” and specialized figures in leather goods and footwear operations.
“In line with our commitment to the supply chain, we want to offer our contribution to rehabilitate artisanal crafts in the eyes of young people, offering them a unique training opportunity and stimulating professional paths, in a future-oriented context” commented Massimo Rigucci , CEO of Artlab & Leather Goods, Shoe, Jewelry Industrial Operations of Gucci.
