The union has mobilized: today the unitary coordination of Fim Fiom Uilm reiterated the need to “have an urgent call from the Ministry of Economic Development” also to understand the possible impact on employment in Italy. Furthermore, “territorial and factory delegations will ask for meetings with local prefectures with the aim of involving local communities on employment concerns and to promote the request for a meeting with the Mise”. Government intervention is requested because: “the production control of an important sector of Italian manufacturing such as the household appliance sector must be defended and relaunched also with public interventions”.
