Stock Exchange: Milan closed higher with Leonardo and Tenaris

Medium-sized enterprises beat the crisis and run more than GDP (ANSA)

(ANSA) – MILAN, JUN 28 – Upward session for Milan (Ftse Mib + 0.79% at 22,101 points) like the other European stock exchanges in the wake of the easing of anti Covid restrictions in China and the announcement of the president of the ECB Christine Lagarde on a “gradual but determined” approach to rate hikes, which “should not be confused with a postponement of normalization”.

Among the big names Leonardo (+ 3.68%) and Tenaris (+ 2.49%). Mediobanca (+ 1.23%) and Generali (+ 1.19%) are recovering on the eve of sales after the death of the shareholder Leonardo Del Vecchio. Securities and rights to Saipem’s 2 billion euro capital increase are still in contrast.

Both frozen for most of the session, the shares posted a rise of 69.64% to 3.05 euros at the close. While rights continue to collapse, yielding 42.37% to 9.52 euros.

Out of the brilliant main basket Autogrill (+ 3.77%) which, in the face of press rumors, specified that “discussions without exclusivity restrictions” are underway on a possible merger transaction with the Swiss group Dufry. (HANDLE).
