Borsa Milano sells (-1%), Unicredit down, crude oil pushes Eni

(ANSA) – MILAN, JUN 29 – Piazza Affari appears weak in the last half hour of trading, with the Ftse Mib index down 1.06% to 21,865 points. The differential between German BTPs and ten-year Bunds drops to 187.6 points, breaking the 188-point threshold downwards, with the Italian annual yield down by 15.9 basis points to 3.384% after the “graduality” on the rate hike confirmed by ECB President Christine Lagarde.

Minus signs prevail on the basket of large stocks, with Saipem (+ 5.28%) and the related rights on the 2 billion capital increase (-67.65%) contrasted, to offset the 30% discount on the theoretical price ex-law (Terp). Under pressure Cnh (-4.67%), Stellantis (-3.17%), Exor (-2.9%) and Ferrari (-2%), which suffer together with the entire automotive sector in Europe. New earthquake for Mps (-9.18%), on the long wave of the Plan which provides for a 2.5 billion capital increase and a 20% cut in personnel. Weak Unicredit (-2.13%), Bper (-1.69%) and Intesa (-1.38%), Banco Bom cautious (-0.14%).

Difficulty for Stm (-2%) together with its European rivals, while Eni (+ 1.27%) is up, driven by the rise in crude oil (Wti + 0.85% to 112.71 dollars a barrel) and gas (+8 , 19% at € 139.75 per MWh). Recordati (+%), Moncler (+ 0.66%) and Snam (+ 0.6%) benefited. Little move Iveco (+ 0.17%) (ANSA).
