Bulgari Hotels Resorts will land in the Maldives in 2025

(ANSA) – ROME, June 30 – A new Bulgari Hotels & Resorts is on its way to the Maldives. In the announcement of the agreement signed for the new resort, which is scheduled to open in 2025, it is specified that the one scheduled will become the thirteenth gem of the hotel chain. The Bulgari Resort Ranfushi, which in Maldivian means “little golden island”, will be located in the Raa atoll, 45 minutes by seaplane from the airport of the capital Malé. Surrounded by pristine sea and lush natural landscapes, the resort will extend over 20 hectares of land, and will include 54 units including the Bulgari Villa, built on a private island, 33 Beach Villas, each with a swimming pool, 20 Overwater Villa and a complete set of facilities to offer maximum comfort.
The design was carried out, as for all the hotels of the group, by the Italian architectural firm Acvp Architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, respecting the highest standards in terms of environmental sustainability, including the creation of an island entirely dedicated to the nesting of many species of birds.
There will be four gastronomic structures: The Restaurant – Niko Romito, with traditional recipes of Italian cuisine prepared by the three-starred chef Niko Romito; the Chinese restaurant Bao Li Xuan, alter-ego of the two-star Michelin restaurant of the same name at the Bulgari Hotel Shanghai; the Hōseki restaurant, a Japanese concept already present in the Dubai resort; the casual restaurant La Spiaggia. The resort will also feature bars, a spa with fitness center, a yoga pavilion and a library. There will also be a Bulgari boutique and a concept store, La Galleria.
“The Maldives – comments Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bulgari – represent a dream destination much loved by our customers from all over the world and we are therefore very proud that the new resort will rise on such an extraordinary island. This new gem of the hospitality will once again guarantee our international customers the highest level of quality and innovation, allowing them to experience the values of our hospitality also in this new and exclusive destination “.
