The European Union can help Ukraine with the payment of pensions to Ukrainians who, due to the war, were forced to go abroad and received the status of temporary protection in European countries.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Social Policy.
It is noted that this issue was discussed during the meeting of Minister Marina Lazebna with the head of the European Parliament Committee on Employment and Social Affairs Dragos Pislaru in Brussels.
It is noted that the EU and Ukraine can jointly pay pensions to citizens even in the absence of bilateral agreements. During the negotiations, it was also agreed. how seniority will be taken into account and how countries will pay.
Marina Lazebnaya also asked that Ukrainians who left for the EU but continue to work for the Ukrainian market pay taxes to the budget of Ukraine.
Another official urged not to cancel social guarantees for those refugees who temporarily returned to Ukraine to solve urgent matters.
How Ukrainian migrants can take money abroad
Ukrainians who left because of the war abroad can receive their pensions even there, but not all, but only those citizens who, before the start of the big war between Russia and Ukraine, received payments through banks.
And the pensioners-migrants, who took their money in the offices of “Ukrposhta”, will have some.
But there is a way out for them too: you just need to change the method of receiving the payment and “transfer” its accrual to a bank card.
Earlier, we talked about what will happen to pension payments in Ukraine from July 1, and wrote about how to get a pension certificate.
